For as long as I can remember, I have had a love for art and design. A little over three years ago, I teamed up with Salon Twist. At Twist, I am able to fulfill my creative desires by being a hair artist. I like to surround myself with creative people and this is the perfect place to do so. I have the opportunity to have a positive impact on a person every hour of every day. Dealing with a person’s image and seeing their smiling face is instant gratification for me.

My training started at the Aveda Institute in Tallahassee where I worked alongside many of the great artists in the industry. The institute is known for great education and gave me the opportunity to create a solid foundation to build my career. Specializing in both cut and color gives me the freedom to visually create a complete image that will work best for each individual. Staying on top of current trends is very important in this industry. I have furthered my education at Bumble and Bumble University and Redken 5th Avenue in New York. Most recently, I completed training in Coppola Keratin smoothing therapy.

Growing up in the area and being able to see the strong sense of community and great artistic flair makes me proud to call this home. After marrying my wonderful husband two years ago and having both of our families in the area as well, I could not feel more blessed. I now know there is something to be said for living where you love and doing what you love.
